Sara and Libby's Wedding at the Hingham Congregational Church in Hingham, MA

Sara and Libby were married on a crisp day in October. The weather was an amazing surprise- sun shining through diffuse clouds, with not a drop of rain once the festivities began. Libby and Sara got ready in the back room of the church, along a funky wall of mirrors. Libby looked like a goddess (which many people said throughout the day) and Sara (the most organized planner I’ve met) got spiffy in a vintage jacket and a custom matching tie and handkerchief set. Meanwhile, Alex- the wedding planner from Lucky Penny Creative set up the beautiful reception space with flowers matching the foliage outside.

As guests arrived, Sara and Libby did not hide in the back room- instead, they ran to each arriving guest, gave them a big hug and said “We are so happy you are here” and asked to get a picture with them. That energy continued throughout the day and grew exponentially. The wedding ceremony was touching and heartfelt, with readings from family members, inspiring words, and a candle lighting ceremony. As Libby and Sara said their vows, placed the rings, and kissed, the church filled with thunderous applause and cheers.

The reception took place in the lower level of the church, a beautifully renovated space, and outside in the bounce house! Dinner was hearty sandwiches catered by Forge Baking Company, followed by a series of delicious cakes from Veggie Galaxy. As soon as dinner was finished, dancing begun! The dance floor filled quickly with big moves and bigger smiles, jams provided by DJ HerShe.

Throughout the day it was clear that the love Sara and Libby put out in the world comes right back to them ten fold from those that love them.

Congratulations on your marriage Sara and Libby!!! It was an honor to capture your wedding!

Taylor and Tom's Wedding at the Wadsworth Homestead in Geneseo, NY

Taylor and Tom were married on a stunning October day at the Wadsworth Homestead in Geneseo, New York. Taylor and her bridesmaids got ready in the bridal suite, full of laughter, donning of artistic touches…and dancing! The suite was made more beautiful by a giant bouquet of roses that Tom had sent to Taylor, with a note about how excited he was to marry her. Meanwhile, Tom and his groomsmen buttoned their shirts and tied their shoes, Tom’s mind focused on the big day ahead.

The ceremony took place outside, under the giant oak tree on the West Lawn. Taylor had a first look with her father, who was speechless when he saw her. Taylor, exuding excitement, walked down the aisle, towards Tom, who was beaming. After they said their vows, Taylor and Tom took portraits with family and friends, and enjoyed their cocktail hour.

After the cocktail hour, guests moved to the tent where they enjoyed beautiful decorations and delicious foods. We made it just in time to capture portraits with the sunset and soft light that followed. Taylor and Tom didn’t leave a dry eye in the room during their first dance, and father/daughter mother/son dances. At this point, you might think that it was a calm night- but don’t be fooled- the dancing started fast and the dance floor was full of energy!

Congratulations Taylor and Tom, we hope you enjoy this preview!

Melissa and Brian's Wedding at Pearl St Grill & Brewery in Buffalo, NY

Melissa and Brian were married on a sunny, stunning summer day in Buffalo, NY. We started the day at the Lofts on Pearl, in a beautiful, open brick room overlooking Pearl Street. Melissa got ready with her mom, grandmother, and bridal party in sun filled room. Melissa’s wedding gown was the perfect princess dress, and was complimented by the stunning pink bridesmaids dresses in various tones and styles. Once dresses were donned, the ladies went outside to meet their limo bus.

Melissa and Brian first saw each other at their beautiful church wedding at Watermark Wesleyan Church. Melissa’s dad walked her down the aisle, as Brian looked at her beaming. After exchanging their vows, Melissa and Brian took their first photos as husband and wife in the church.

Next up- a photo tour of Buffalo! We explored Wilkinson’s Point and Gallagher Pier, where we encountered stunning clouds and beautiful water. The wedding party braved the heat to capture stunning shots in the Tift Nature Preserve. Afterwards to cool off the party hustled to The Draft Room for a few pints! Right before the reception, we hopped out for a few romantic portraits by a beautiful flower mural in downtown Buffalo.

The reception took place at the Pearl St Grill & Brewery, where Brian and Melissa had a whole floor (and 3 ballrooms) to themselves and their guests. The decorations were modern, thoughtful, timeless, and beautiful- we were amazed at the number of details and special touches they had planned throughout the space. The rest of the day was loving and beautiful with emotional speeches, father-daughter, and mother-son dances. The couple also displayed their fun sense of humor, with a “Monster Mash” and a Oczepiny!

The day was stunning and we were honored to be a part of it. Congratulations on your wedding Melissa and Brian, and we hope you enjoy this preview!

Kylie's Senior Portrait at the Wadsworth Homestead in Geneseo NY

I cannot believe Kylie is already a senior! I have been imagining this photoshoot for a long time, but it really snuck up on me!

Kylie is an amazing person- talented, smart, extremely kind, silly, with a quiet confidence. She loves deeply, and I cannot wait to see what she does in this world.

We did Kylie’s senior portraits at the Wadsworth Homestead in Geneseo, NY, exploring the outdoors, including gardens and fields throughout the golden hour. At just the right moment, we went indoors to capture her en pointe, in the perfectly lit hallway- these are a must see!

Kylie- I am so excited for all of the adventures I know are ahead of you. I love you and I will always be cheering you on from Geneseo!! Congratulations on becoming a senior!!

Sarah and Graham's Wedding at Friendly Crossways in Harvard, MA

Sarah and Graham were married at Friendly Crossways in Harvard, MA on a warm summer day. While Sarah got ready in a quaint air conditioned room, Graham braved the heat on the beautiful second floor. You would never guess, but during a surprise rainstorm, we did the first look indoors, which I think ended up being very lucky as we were able to capture the unique atrium. Next, Graham and Sarah were married at the foot of the forrest and a great boulder. The sun peaked through as they said their vows surrounded by their beaming and tearful wedding party. After the ceremony, guests carried their elegant wooden chairs to the tent and enjoyed cocktails and lawn games. The reception was full of energy- with a larger than life DJ. As the sun set, and the turkeys grazed in the surrounding meadow, Sarah and Graham’s family and friends danced the night away. Congratulations Sarah and Graham! We hope you enjoy this sneak peak- we had so much fun capturing your wedding day!
